Annona ubatubenensis is in season from February to March and has a delicious cream-colored pulp that separates easily from the pit. The flavor of the pulp is reminiscent of cherimoya and can be used to make a variety of treats such as juices, ice cream, cakes, and sweets. The tree is rare and highly valued by fruit collectors, and it should be included in efforts to promote biodiversity in reforested areas.
Brown Sugar, Pralines.. mmm...
