Duguetia aff echinophora, previously known as sp. Maranhao, is a species of Duguetia discovered by Bruno Lima, a member of the Hapa Joe team. It has a sweet flavor combination of papaya and cantaloupe, with a hint of sugar apple sweetness.
The species has a delightful melon aroma. The flesh is pleasing and reportedly grows larger as the rainy season progresses.
