Onychopetalum periquino is a tree species belonging to the Annonaceae family, with a self-sustaining growth pattern. It originates from Amazônia, Mato Grosso in Brazil, as well as Acre and RondôNia. The leaves of the tree are one main leaf - not compoundsimple and broad.
The fruit of the tree has sweet flesh with a slight astringency near the skin.
