The local people refer to this unknown fruit as "Pahway." It has a sweet and fibrous taste, reminiscent of cantaloupe, and its texture is chewy like gum.
You might need to spit it out after the flavor was worn off, or consider it as part of your fiber intake ☺. Nonetheless, it was a very interesting find with beautiful foliage.
