Dwarf Jaboticaba/Plinia Nana is a unique tree, with a tortuous trunk, few branches, and thick and thorny bark. It has narrow oval shape tapering to a pointlanceolate, smooth, and shiny leaves. It grows under larger trees, and the most striking feature is that its fruits, globular berries, seem to grow attached to the main trunk and thicker branches.
